With our MultiMount system and using the Studlock key design that we created and manufacture, your beautiful new mantel can be safely, securely, and beautifully mounted with confidence that it will stay in place for the duration of the lifetime of your home. Sheppard Brackets Floating Mantel Brackets will be able to be drilled into every stud or cross beam that is behind the mantel and will not need to be moved or shifted left or right to line up with any pre-drilled holes. You will also not need to add more difficult-to-drill holes through our 3/16” thick solid still backplates.

Our heavy-duty floating mantel brackets that will hole virtually any solid-wood mantel that you would like to install. For any mantel between 2 ½ and 3 ¾ inches thick, we recommend the floating mantel bracket with a 2 inch backplate. For mantels that are 3 ¾ inches thick and thicker, please consider that floating mantel brackets with a 3 inch backplate.
