This is a great design and with the addition of the drilling jig, made boring the holes effortless. I highly recommend buying the largest drilling jig for your shelves. Best Brackets You Can Buy! I was wondering how I would hang a sturdy shelf 6’ long over my tv. This worked out better than I could have imagined. I wish I would have used Shepard Brackets on the other shelves. In fact, I probably will redo the glass shelves and put a sturdy SHepard Brackets in their place.

We renovate houses and commonly install a butcher block open shelf under higher wall cabinets in kitchen renovations. I have used several similar mounting systems for a floating shelf look, but this will be our go-to from here out. Two things set it apart: it attaches to studs anywhere along the length of the bracket and it comes with a drill bit guide to ensure a perfect perpendicular bore in your shelf material. Like others we have used, it is sturdy enough to hold heavy shelves and conceals nicely behind 1-1/2" thick shelf material, but the innovations with this specific bracket make the installations much easier. Floating Shelf Brackets that are strong - Heavy Duty Floating Shelf Brackets

Awesome product to ensure that you are hitting the stud with your bracket. This was my main concern in hanging any floating shelves and this, unlike many other brackets, allowed me to ensure that I could get a strong hold by hitting the stud. Would definitely purchase again. Only thing to note is ensure that the bracket is completely flat prior to marking and drilling the holes for your shelf. It may have been my fault at some point in the process and I may have slightly bent the bracket requiring me to bore out my holes a little more, but it still worked perfect.

Great product and well made. The seller was quick to respond, even during the holidays, and we were able to receive and use the bracket before Christmas. The bracket is well made and very strong. Our house is not a normal house. We wanted a floating mantle on a brick wall. This bracket made it possible. Drilling bricks is never the most fun, and the installation was a little tricky because of the uneven surface, but the bracket has a ton of notches for mounting, making it a lot easier to work with than any other ideas we thought of. Very cool and sturdy mounting brackets. I do wish I would have bought the installation aid set but I still managed to line up all 6 of my 6" long rods and it supported my whole body weight, now I have a 100 lb beam on it. I installed decorative turnbuckle supports but it was floating until I got those installed.

Great construction and definitely worth the purchase. Only thing I can say is take your time lining everything up. Some of the holes in the shelves needed to be drilled with bigger holes in order to correct for how level or unlevel the shelf was, but that isn’t due to the lack of quality of the bracket or the drill.

Very simple and easy to use! The only thing I’d do different next time would be to make the recess in the back of the shelf an extra 1/16” deep to account for the head of the screw that will stand proud of the bracket.

They are very stable compared to the ones I have used in other people’s houses that only have two mounting screw holes instead of four.
